The Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP) โ BARMM Program Implementation Review (PIR) successfully concluded as participants, facilitators, and partners gathered for group photos at the end of the activity held at Apo View Hotel, Davao City, from April 6โ8, 2026.
The PIR was facilitated by the PMNP BARMM Regional Project Management Office, headed by Ms. Celia C. Sagaral, Nutrition Division Chief of the Ministry of HealthโBARMM. The activity was also attended virtually by the PMNP National Project Management Office, led by Project Team Leader Dr. Faith F. Alberto. Participating in the review were partners from UNICEF, representatives from the Ministry of Health (MOH)โBARMM Nutrition Division, the Bangsamoro Nutrition Council, and the Integrated Provincial Health Offices (IPHOs). Also present were members of the BARMM Provincial Nutrition Committees, including the Provincial Nutrition Action Officers, as well as representatives from the BARMM Municipal Nutrition Committees, particularly the Municipal Nutrition Action Officers (MNAOs) and Municipal Health Officers (MHOs), together with representatives from the Rural Health Units (RHUs).
During the review, the BARMM Regional Project Officers, namely Ms. Raihana Dimapinggun and Mr. Dhejay Maramara, presented their project accomplishments for the provinces of Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte and del Sur. The activity also provided a venue for participants to surface implementation issues and concerns, discuss recommended actions, process key outputs, consolidate agreements and ways forward, and align planned activities from April to June 30, 2026, to further strengthen project implementation.
The activity concluded with renewed commitment among partners and stakeholders to further strengthen collaboration and sustain collective efforts in advancing the project toward improved nutrition outcomes for communities across the Bangsamoro region.
Together, we move forward in strengthening nutrition programs for a healthier Bangsamoro.
