The Cooperatives and Social Enterprise Authority (CSEA) โ BARMM, through the Social Enterprise Division, successfully implemented the Social Enterprise Capacity Building Training for SE-SAVE beneficiaries conducted in two batches across different venues. The Maguindanao, Special Geographic Area (SGA), and Island Provinces cluster was successfully completed last May 18โ20, 2026 at El Comedor, Cotabato City, while the Lanao cluster is currently ongoing from May 21โ23, 2026 at Curly Frost, Heaven Road, Marawi City.
The activity engaged a diverse group of beneficiaries from Maguindanao, SGA, and the Island Provinces, as well as Lanao, composed of cooperatives, sole proprietors, MSMEs, and associations. This initiative underscores the Authorityโs continued commitment to strengthening social enterprises through inclusive capacity development interventions across the region.
The participants form part of the total 70 beneficiary groups identified across the BARMM region under the SE-SAVE Program, which aims to enhance enterprise viability and promote sustainable socio-economic development in local communities.
The training focused on strengthening participantsโ competencies in social enterprise development, including enterprise planning, organizational strengthening, and the formulation of strategic vision, mission, and goals toward fostering sustainable and transformative community impact.
