WEEKLY RECAP | This weekโs activities reflected the continuing commitment of the Bangsamoro people to faith, service, peacebuilding, moral governance, and democratic participation.
Among the highlights were the continued presentation of governance achievements under the Bangsamoro Transition, particularly in expanding healthcare services and delivering public programs to communities across the region. The week also marked the observance of the Day of Arafah and the celebration of Eid al-Adha, reminding the Bangsamoro Ummah of the values of sacrifice, compassion, obedience, and unity.
UBJP likewise conducted its Qurban 2026 activity, extending the spirit of service and generosity to Bangsamoro communities while strengthening solidarity among members and supporters.
Meanwhile, the UBJP Basilan Convention emphasized the transition of the Bangsamoro struggle from armed resistance to democratic participation, highlighting the importance of governance, leadership, and electoral engagement in advancing the aspirations of the Bangsamoro people. Thousands also gathered in Maguindanao del Sur for the Community Forum and Orientation for Moral Governance, reaffirming the principles of Islamization, unity, self-reliance, and collective responsibility in building a stronger Bangsamoro society.
The week also featured important organizational developments, including the M**F Central Committeeโs official clarification on circulating misinformation, the announcement of an upcoming votersโ education assembly, and the installation of Commander Teng Jakiri as the new 104th Base Commander, reaffirming unity, discipline, and support for the Bangsamoro peace process.
As the Bangsamoro continues its journey toward lasting peace and meaningful self-governance, the commitment to service, faith, unity, moral governance, and collective leadership remains steadfast.
