The 6th Civil-Military Operations (Kasangga) Battalion (6CMOBn), under the leadership of LTC Ronald E. Suscano, joins the people of Upi in celebrating the declaration of Stable Internal Peace and Security (Insurgency-Free) in the Municipality of Upi, Maguindanao del Norte. This remarkable achievement reflects the collective commitment of government agencies, security forces, local government units, development partners, and community stakeholders in fostering lasting peace, security, and sustainable development throughout the municipality.

The activity was graced by distinguished leaders, including Hon. Ma. Rona Cristina A. Piang-Flores, Municipal Mayor of Upi; PCOL George D. Bagundol, Provincial Director of the Maguindanao del Norte Police Provincial Office; COL Ruben G. Aquino, GSC (INF) PA, ADC, RRA, 6th Infantry Division, Philippine Army; LTC AERON T GUMABAO INF (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of 57IB "Masikap" Battalion; Hon. Ramon Piang, Sr., Member of Parliament of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA-BARMM); Mr. Aliuddin Haron, Head Secretariat of the Joint Normalization Committee-MILF; Mr. Ronnie Arap Jr., Project Specialist of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP); Hon. Datu Tucao O. Mastura, Governor of Maguindanao del Norte. Their presence highlighted the strong partnership among stakeholders in sustaining peace gains and advancing a more secure, resilient, and prosperous future for the people of Upi and the Bangsamoro region.

Isinagawa ang Joint Artillery Littoral Live Fire Exercise o JALLFX sa Marine Forward Operating Station sa Datu Blah Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte.

Itoโ€™y bahagi ng Philippineโ€“United States Marine Exercise o MAREX 2026 na layuning palakasin ang interoperability at combined operational readiness ng pwersa ng Pilipinas at Estados Unidos sa maritime at territorial defense operations.

Sa nalalapit na halalan sa Bangsamoro, mas nagiging mahalaga ang bawat tinig, bawat pananaw, at bawat responsableng pagkilos tungo sa mapayapa, maayos, at makabuluhang pakikilahok ng mamamayan. Ang programang ito ay naging daan ng pag-uusap, pag-unawa, at pagbibigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng pagkakaisa sa gitna ng pagkakaiba. Isang paalala na ang tunay na kapayapaan ay hindi lamang pinapanatili, ito ay sama-samang binubuo sa pamamagitan ng respeto, pagtutulungan, at pananagutang panlipunan.

Higit sa lahat, mahalagang maunawaan ng kabataan ang kahalagahan ng mapayapang pakikilahok at pagiging mulat sa mga usaping humuhubog sa kanilang kinabukasan. Sapagkat ang mga desisyong ginagawa ngayon ay may magiging epekto sa susunod na henerasyon. Ang kabataan ay hindi lamang tagamasid ng pagbabago, sila rin ay mahalagang bahagi sa paghubog ng mas maayos, mapayapa, at matatag na bukas.
Sa paglapit ng halalan, nawaโ€™y manaig ang pagkakaisa, respeto, at kapayapaan. Dahil ang bawat hakbang tungo sa mapayapang halalan ay hakbang din tungo sa mas maliwanag na kinabukasan para sa Bangsamoro at sa susunod na henerasyon.

Brigadier General Marces T. Gayat, Commander of the Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army, visited the Aviation Regiment, Philippine Army, on May 18, 2026, to strengthen coordination and interoperability between the two units.

CMOR Commander Strengthens Army Coordination and Troop Engagement in Mindoro
Brigadier General Marces T. Gayat, Commander of the Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army, visited the Headquarters of the 203rd Infantry Brigade in Bansud, Oriental Mindoro, to enhance coordination and operational collaboration between units.
During the visit, Brigadier General Gayat and officers from the 2nd Civil-Military Operations Battalion met with Brig. Gen. Melencio W. Ragudo, Commander of the 203rd Infantry Brigade, to discuss ongoing peace, security and community development efforts in Oriental and Occidental Mindoro.
He also visited the 1st CMO Company, 2nd CMO Battalion, where he encouraged troops to uphold discipline, maintain high morale and remain committed to supporting peace-building and community engagement initiatives in their areas of responsibility.

3rd CMO Battalion Passes BECP, Honors Troops for Valor in Negros Operation
The 3rd Civil-Military Operations โ€œPeacemakerโ€ Battalion, Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army, successfully completed the Battalion Evaluation Certification Program (BECP) at Camp Martin P. Jaen Sr., Leganes, Iloilo on May 21, 2026. Led by Lieutenant Colonel Ricardo C. Villaruel III, the battalion demonstrated a high level of operational readiness, discipline, and excellence in civil-military operations.
Brigadier General Marces T. Gayat, Commander of the Civil-Military Operations Regiment, served as the keynote speaker during the culmination activity, while the evaluation was conducted by the Civil-Military Operations School headed by Lieutenant Colonel Alvin Mark L. Bonayao, together with Lieutenant Colonel Herbert P. Montenegro.
The event also featured the awarding of the Military Merit Medal to personnel of the 3rd Civil-Military Operations Company for their bravery and dedicated service during an encounter in Brgy. Salamanca, Toboso, Negros Island Region. The recognition highlighted their professionalism, courage, and commitment to supporting peace and security efforts.
The successful conduct of the BECP reaffirmed the regimentโ€™s commitment to strengthening operational capability and honoring the service and sacrifices of its personnel in advancing lasting peace and community development.

3CMOBn Completes BECP Rucksack March to Strengthen Operational Readiness
The 3rd Civil-Military Operations โ€œPeacemakerโ€ Battalion (3CMOBn), Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army, led by LTC Ricardo C. Villaruel III, successfully conducted a Rucksack March on May 20, 2026, from Camp Martin P. Jaen Sr. in Leganes, Iloilo to Katunggan Eco Integrated Park as part of the Battalion Evaluation Certification Program (BECP).
The evaluation, administered by the Civil-Military Operations School (CMOS) under LTC Alvin Mark L. Bonayao and assisted by LTC Herbert P. Montenegro, assessed the battalionโ€™s physical endurance, discipline, teamwork, and operational preparedness under challenging conditions.
The activity highlighted 3CMOBnโ€™s commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, resilience, and mission readiness in support of the Philippine Armyโ€™s mandate to serve the people and secure the land.

RAATI Conducted at Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology to Strengthen Reserve Officersโ€™ Training Corps Excellence and Student Leadership
The Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) was successfully conducted today at the Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (ARIST). The inspection team, led by Colonel Gerald L. Monfort, Chairman, and Lieutenant Colonel Leilanie F. Casa (Res), Vice-Chairman, was welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel Cecilio N. Lucas Jr, Commandant, and First Lieutenant Venerando Vizarra (Res), Assistant Commandant.
The activity highlighted the continued commitment of the Reserve Officersโ€™ Training Corps (ROTC) program to uphold excellence, discipline, leadership, and patriotism among students. RAATI also reinforced the integrity and quality of ROTC training in developing responsible and service-oriented individuals who contribute to nation-building and community development.
