The Members of the Bangsamoro Parliament continued their active participation on Day 2 of the activity being held today, June 2, 2026, at Acacia Hotel Davao.

Deputy Speaker MP Romeo K. Sema, joined fellow Members of Parliament, staff, and developmental partners in meaningful discussions toward the development of BARMMโ€™s 10-Year Parliament Strategic Framework. Ten (10) strategic issues were identified yesterday by the participants for inclusion in the Parliament's priority agenda, and prioritize top five parliamentary areas in terms of legislation, oversight, representation and budget approval, with the consensus to align them with the priorities of the Chief Minister, the Parliamentary Speaker, and other government mechanisms, like the Bangsamoro Development Plan (BDP).

With the guidance of the Development Academy of the Philippines - Graduate School of Public and Development Management and the support of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, the activity helps strengthen the Parliamentโ€™s plans for a more responsive and future-ready institution.

Members of the Bangsamoro Parliament actively took part in the opening of the Parliament Strategic Planning and Framework โ€“ Phase 1 held today, June 1, 2026, at Acacia Hotel Davao, reflecting their shared commitment to strengthening the institution and shaping a future-ready Parliament for the Bangsamoro.

Among the participating Members of Parliament is Deputy Speaker MP Romeo K. Sema, DPA, who joined fellow Parliament members and staff. The planning workshop is facilitated by the Development Management (DAP-GSPM) and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.

The activity marks the beginning of the formulation of the 10-Year Parliament Strategic Framework of the BARMM, which aims to set a clearer direction, strengthen institutional systems, and promote more responsive governance anchored on the hopes and aspirations of the Bangsamoro people.

This strategic planning activity is a meaningful step toward building a more stable, inclusive, and progressive future for the Bangsamoro.
