Some moments are worth taking the time to look back on. 💙

Last August 29, 2026, we celebrated the spirit, talents, leadership, and unity of the youth through our Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 Municipal Celebration: a day filled with meaningful experiences, exciting challenges, cultural pride, and well-deserved recognition.

From the Atsup Serbisyo Caravan and Leadership Training, to the thrilling Amazing Race, our young people showed that when given opportunities, they can lead, serve, create, and inspire.

The celebration continued with Youth Night: Creative Philippine Folk Dance Competition where our schools showcased the beauty and richness of Filipino culture:

We also celebrated our young leaders during Gabi ng Parangal, honoring the Junior Youth Public Officials – Batch “Sigla” and recognizing our Sangguniang Kabataan with our Top 3 Performing SK Council.

A proud moment for Davao de Oro’s youth leaders! Last night, August 31, 2026, at Molave Hotel, Tagum City, our outstanding Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) were recognized for their dedication, commitment, and excellence in advancing youth development.

We proudly celebrate the remarkable achievements of our SK organizations who earned top distinctions out of 237 Barangays in Davao de Oro:

🥇 SK Barangay Magcagong -Rank 1, with an outstanding 94.93% rating in the Provincial SK Performance and Functionality Assessment, and recipient of the Excellence in Financial Accountability Award.

🏅 SK Barangay Talian -Rank 5, and recipient of the Excellence in Financial Accountability Award.

🌟 SK Barangay Bagong Silang - Rank 20

These accomplishments are a testament to the passion, hard work, accountability, and dedication of our young leaders in serving their communities.

Kini usa ka oportunidad aron sila mapaminaw, mahatagan og kahigayonan, ma-connect sa mga serbisyo ug programa, ug maengganyo nga mahimong aktibong partisipante sa ilang komunidad.

Kini nga kalihokan gipasiugdahan ubos sa liderato ni Mayor Cesar Clarion Colina Sr., kauban ang Sangguniang Bayan nga gipangulohan ni Vice Mayor Osberht Mar B. Yanong, ug uban sa suporta sa atong First District Representative, Cong. Maricar Zamora-Mabanglo ug atong Provincial Governor, Gov. Engr. Raul Mabanglo, kauban ang aktibong partisipasyon sa nagkadaiyang partner agencies ug stakeholders alang sa katawhan sa lungsod sa Maragusan.
