March 28, 2026 | Barangay and SK Joint Assembly

In line with Republic Act No. 7160 (Local Government Code of 1991), each Barangay official presented targeted messages aligned with their committee mandates—covering essential areas like peace and order, health, education, and infrastructure development. Representing the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), the SK Secretary articulated the youth council's strategic initiatives for 2026, emphasizing youth-led programs in leadership training, environmental sustainability, and civic engagement.

This assembly marked a robust commencement, characterized by transparent goal-setting and inclusive participation, laying a solid foundation for collaborative community advancement.

The Local Government Unit (LGU) through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), Municipal Youth Development Council (MYDC), and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), implements various youth development programs and initiatives aimed at empowering young people and promoting their active participation in community and nation-building.

This evaluation and assessment survey is being conducted to gather feedback from youth beneficiaries and stakeholders. The results of this survey will help assess the effectiveness, accessibility, inclusiveness, and overall impact of youth programs implemented in the municipality.

Your honest responses will serve as valuable inputs in improving youth development policies, programs, and services to ensure that they are responsive to the needs and aspirations of the youth.
