THE SUPREME SECONDARY LEARNER GOVERNMENT STRONGLY REMINDS OUR STUDENTS TO:
โผ๏ธBE CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH STRANGERS AND ONLINE SCAMSโผ๏ธ
Students are reminded to stay alert following a recent incident in the DALAGUETE SEAWALL, where an unidentified man reportedly approached students and lured them into using the online game mobile legends to steal their gadgets. The individual allegedly promised GAMING REWARDS and asked students to create accounts and visit certain websites to obtain monetary and gaming rewards.
Although the situation was later recognized as suspicious, this serves as an important reminder for all students to be careful when interacting with strangers and online offers
โ DO NOT TALK TO OR ENGAGE WITH STRANGERS
If someone you do not know offers money, rewards, gadgets, or gaming opportunities, politely REFUSE and WALK AWAY.
โ DO NOT BELIEVE OFFERS OF FREE REWARDS OR DIAMONDS
Scammers often use games like MOBILE LEGENDS to attract students with PROMISES OF FREE DIAMONDS, MONEY, OR GAMING PERKS.
โ NEVER GIVE YOUR PHONE OR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO STRANGERS
Passwords, verification codes, and gaming accounts are PRIVATE and should NEVER be shared.
โ DO NOT FOLLOW STRANGERS TO OTHER PLACES
If someone asks you to go to another location, store, or website, DO NOT GO WITH THEM.
โ
TELL A TRUSTED ADULT IMMEDIATELY
Report any suspicious activity to your TEACHERS, PARENTS, or PROPER AUTHORITIES.
โ ๏ธ AVOID WALKING IN MINGAW (ISOLATED) AREAS, ESPECIALLY ALONE
Always stay in SAFE AND POPULATED PLACES, preferably with FRIENDS OR CLASSMATES.
๐ GO HOME IMMEDIATELY AFTER SCHOOL HOURS
Avoid situations that may lead to incidents like thisโor worse.
ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT
YOUR SAFETY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY GAME REWARD OR OFFER.
Stay with your circle, avoid strangers, and THINK BEFORE TRUSTING PEOPLE YOU DO NOT KNOW.
๐ข IF AN OFFER SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS. STAY ALERT, STAY SAFE!
