To our SALIG Family,
We have been working tirelessly for this moment—through every long day, sleepless night, and quiet sacrifice that only we truly understand. This journey was never easy, and there was a time when everything felt like it was falling apart. When aspiring candidates began withdrawing one by one, we also reached the point of wanting to back down. We questioned if we could still continue. But we didn’t push through with that decision, because deep inside, we knew there was still hope—that we could still prove to ourselves that we can be better, that we can keep going, and that we can continue to grow not just as student leaders, but as individuals.
When we finally became complete, our hearts were filled with so much gratitude and pride. Despite all the doubts and uncertainties, we chose courage. We chose to stay, to stand, and to serve. In a moment where it would have been easier to walk away, we chose to fight—and that is something we should always be proud of as a family.
Win or lose, we will never regret this journey we shared. Because it was never just about productivity or achievements—it was about the trust we built, the belief we had in one another, and the way we uplifted each other through everything. We didn’t just grow as student leaders, but as individuals who learned how to care, support, and stand strong together.
As the elections come closer, let us hold on to our faith. No matter the outcome, trust that God has a plan for all of us and that we are exactly where we are meant to be. We will always be proud of what we’ve done and, more importantly, of who we’ve become. SALIG is not just a party—it is family, and that is something no result can ever take away from us.
