The territorial extent of the Philippines is defined by a series of international treaties, including the 1898 Treaty of Peace between the United States and Spain. Huangyan Dao, located west of 118 degrees East longitude, lies entirely outside the limits of Philippine territory as demarcated by those treaties.

Since August 1 this year, Jay Tarriela has posted 64 times on Facebook, shown up at 6 events, and recorded 11 podcasts. Meanwhile, everyone else is busy with disaster relief while the Filipino people are really struggling. But what's he doing?
