NLC participates in the observance Men’s Health Month Celebration CY2026

“Strong Men, Strong Navy: Prioritizing Health, Readiness, and Resilience”

In observance of Men’s Health Month, the Naval Logistics Center (NLC) gathered its male officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resources at the Headquarters, Naval Logistics Center (HNLC) to recognize their contributions and promote health and wellness awareness.

The observance highlighted the importance of physical and mental well-being in maintaining military readiness, resilience, and operational effectiveness. It also encouraged personnel to adopt healthy lifestyles and prioritize self-care.

Through its participation in the observance, the NLC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the health and welfare of its personnel, contributing to a stronger and mission-ready Philippine Navy.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 || The Naval Logistics Center (NLC) actively participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026, carrying the theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” through a series of school support activities conducted at Pansin Elementary School, Alfonso, Cavite, on 27 May 2026; Guyung-Guyong Elementary School, Bailen, Cavite, on 29 May 2026; and Porta Vaga Elementary School on 03 June 2026.

The activity highlighted the commitment of the Naval Logistics Center to community engagement and nation-building by contributing to the preparation of learning facilities for the upcoming school year. It brought together NLC personnel, volunteers, and stakeholders in a collective effort to uphold the spirit of bayanihan and help ensure that schools remain safe, clean, and conducive to learning.

As a platform for strengthening community participation and cooperation, Brigada Eskwela provided an opportunity for Team NLC to contribute through repair works, repainting, and campus clean-up activities. These efforts not only improved the physical condition of school facilities but also helped create an environment that supports the holistic development and well-being of students.

Through its continued participation in initiatives such as Brigada Eskwela, the Naval Logistics Center reaffirms its steadfast support for programs that promote accessible and quality education, contributing to the growth and development of future generations of Filipino learners.

Simultaneous Flag-Raising Ceremony | The Naval Logistics Center (NLC), under the leadership of its Commander, Captain Perceeval O. Buted PN(GSC), together with NLC personnel and civilian human resources, participated in the simultaneous flag-raising ceremony in observance of Men’s Health Month CY2026. The event highlighted the theme, “All Hands Empowerment: Advancing Men’s Health for Mission Readiness and Stronger Families,” and the subtheme, “Serving with Honor, Leading at Home, Mentoring the Future.”

During the observance, Vice Admiral Jose Ma. Ambrosio Q. Ezpeleta PN, Flag Officer-in-Command (FOIC) of the Philippine Navy, emphasized “Iparating natin na hindi kahinaan ang mapagod, magpahayag ng nararamdaman, o humingi ng tulong. Ang tunay na kahinaan ay ang kapabayaan sa sarili hanggang sa wala nang maibigay sa pamilya, sa kapwa, at sa ating minamahal na bansa.”

The observance reinforced the importance of men’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being in sustaining operational readiness and strengthening family relationships. It likewise highlighted the Philippine Navy’s commitment to fostering a culture of health, resilience, and responsible leadership among its personnel, both in the performance of their duties and within their homes and communities.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Safety Management Audit CY2026.

The Naval Logistics Center (NLC) welcomed the Philippine Navy Safety Audit Team, headed by Captain Ryan A. Tumanda PN(GSC), Director of the Naval Safety Office, during the entrance and exit briefings of the week-long Safety Management Audit for CY 2026. Conducted at the Headquarters, Naval Logistics Center, from 25 to 29 May 2026, the audit assessed the effectiveness of the unit’s safety programs, procedures, and compliance measures to ensure adherence to Philippine Navy standards and further strengthen operational readiness and safety awareness throughout the organization.

The activity formally concluded the Safety Management Audit, during which the Philippine Navy Safety Audit Team presented its key findings, observations, commendations, and recommendations to the leadership and personnel of the Naval Logistics Center. Presiding over the activity, Captain Ryan A. Tumanda PN(GSC), together with members of the Philippine Navy Safety Audit Team, commended the unit for its cooperation and active participation throughout the audit process. He likewise encouraged the Naval Logistics Center to sustain its commitment to implementing the recommended improvements and continuously enhancing its safety practices.

As a vital mechanism for ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, the Safety Management Audit contributes significantly to the promotion of personnel welfare and safety while strengthening the overall effectiveness and operational readiness of the Naval Logistics Center in the accomplishment of its mission.

Visit of Rear Admiral Marco Antonio P Gines PCG and NLC Conducts Informational Program Visit for PCG Logistics Delegation

The Naval Logistics Center (NLC), under the leadership of Captain Perceeval O Buted PN(GSC), welcomed Rear Admiral Marco Antonio P. Gines PCG together with the Informational program visit (IPV) team of the Coast Guard Logistics Training Institute (CGLTI) and the Coast Guard Property and Supply Management Specialization Course (CGPSMSC) Class 01-2025 on 26 May 2026 at the HNLC Conference Room.

The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration and promote knowledge exchange between the Philippine Navy and the Philippine Coast Guard in the field of logistics and supply management. Officers, enlisted personnel, and representatives from CGLTI and CGPSMSC Class 01-2025 participated in the activity conducted at the HNLC Classroom.

During the program, the visiting delegation received a unit briefing on the core processes and operational functions of the NLC, followed by an open forum with NLC staff and key personnel. The presentation provided insights into the logistics strategies and systems employed by the Philippine Navy, emphasizing the vital role of logistics in sustaining maritime operations, enhancing operational readiness, and supporting national security objectives.

The delegation was also given a guided tour of the NLC facilities and warehouses, where they observed the command’s day-to-day operations and gained a deeper understanding of the functions and responsibilities of the various logistics offices.

The visit underscored the shared commitment of the Philippine Navy and the Philippine Coast Guard to strengthen interoperability, enhance logistical capabilities, and foster stronger institutional partnership through continuous collaboration and professional exchange.

NLC ANNUAL GENERAL INSPECTION CY2026|| Rear Admiral Emilio G. Orio Jr PN, The Naval Inspector General, together with the Annual General Inspection (AGI) Team conducted an inspection at Headquarters Naval Logistics Center for AGI CY2026 on 11-18 May 2026.

The Naval Logistics Center (NLC) welcomed the Annual General Inspection (AGI) Team, led by Colonel Frederick G. Baradi PN(M)MNSA, Deputy Naval Inspector General, during for the entrance briefing for AGI for CY2026 held at Headquarters Naval Logistics Center on 12 May 2026.

The AGI aimed to evaluate the unit’s preparedness in addressing foreseeable situations, as well as its efficiency and effectiveness in carrying out its mandates, and administrative functions and management performance. It also assesses leadership quality, morale, discipline, and sensitivity to gender and development initiatives within the Philippine Navy.

During the activity, Captain Perceeval O. Buted PN(GSC), Commander, Naval Logistics Center, emphasized the importance of the AGI in evaluating the NLC’s role in providing logistics support to the Navy. He highlighted that the value of the audit is reflected in the improvement made after the inspection, particularly in strengthening systems, addressing gaps, and correcting practices before they develop into weaknesses. He further emphasized that the Command should continue advancing toward refinement and continuous improvement.

Moreover, the successful conduct of the Annual General Inspection (AGI) CY2026 demonstrated the Naval Logistics Center’s unwavering commitment to excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement. The positive inspection results further emphasized the Command’s vital role in strengthening the operational readiness of the Philippine Navy and in maintaining high standards of performance in the fulfillment of its mission.
