BRP MIGUEL MIGUEL MALVAR (PS19) Arrived in Masbate City

November 02, 2021– In support to the Naval Forces Southern Luzon’s (NFSL) continuing efforts in fulfilling its mandate of bringing peace, security and development in the Joint Task Force – Bicolandia Area of Operations, the Philippine Navy’s most decorated naval warship, BRP MIGUEL MALVAR (PS19) skippered by CDR JOHN PERCIE A ALCOS PN(GSC), arrived in Masbate City last October 30, 2021 to support Focused Military Operations (FMO) and establish naval presence in support of the Southern Luzon Command’s mission.

Before its reassignment in the Bicol and Southern Tagalog region, BRP MIGUEL MALVAR (PS19) was previously deployed in Jolo, Tawi-Tawi, and the West Philippine Sea in support of the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Territorial Defense and Internal Security Operations in the Southern and Western seaboard of the country.
