Intensified Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations: Conduct of Foot Patrol and Oplan Bakal Sita/Oplan Bulabog

On June 2, 2026, at around 10:00 PM onwards, personnel of this station, conducted intensified anti-criminality law enforcement operations, particularly on the strict enforcement of local ordinances through enhanced police visibility and intensified foot patrol operations.

The activity also included the implementation of Oplan Bulabog and Oplan Bakal Sita aimed at preventing and deterring the commission of crimes and other unlawful activities by lawless elements, thereby ensuring peace, order, and public safety within the municipality.

On June 2, 2026, personnel of Catmon MPS, led by PCPT PETER MUANA, Deputy COP, in coordination with the Catmon Traffic Command, conducted a checkpoint operation along the national highway of Brgy. Macaas, Catmon, Cebu, as part of the station’s continuing efforts to strengthen security measures and maintain peace and order within the area of responsibility. The activity aimed to deter criminality, enhance police visibility, monitor the movement of persons and vehicles, and ensure compliance with existing traffic laws and regulations. On June 1, 2026, at around 10:00 PM onwards, personnel of this station conducted Oplan Bulabog and Oplan Bakal Sita, together with the implementation of the Municipal Ordinance on the imposition of curfew hours for minors, in coordination with the Catmon MSWD Office during nighttime mobile patrol operations.

During the conduct of the roving patrol, all individuals encountered were properly inspected and monitored to ensure that they were not carrying any illegal fi****ms, deadly weapons, or prohibited drugs. The operation aimed to prevent criminal activities, strengthen public safety measures, and maintain peace and order within the municipality.

Moreover, authorities reminded the public to refrain from engaging in any unlawful activities and encouraged everyone to remain vigilant at all times. Residents were likewise urged to immediately report any suspicious persons, incidents, or activities observed within their community to the nearest police station for appropriate action.
