As we gear up for the Ibabao Festival 2026, we present the new Ibabao Festival logo which stands out among 96 proposed designs, reflecting the spirit of the celebration. At the center of the design is the number "61" referring to the 61st Founding Anniversary of the province, representing more than six decades of resilience, inclusive growth and enduring traditions that continue to shape the cultural and economic landscape of Northern Samar.
Featured in the design are iconic cultural and historical elements that embody the pride of Northern Samar, from its natural wonders, to agricultural roots, investment potential, maritime identity and timeless heritage. The Capul lighthouse signifies guidance and hope, while the sea turtle represents the province's rich marine biodiversity and commitment to environmental preservation.
The monument of Agustin Sumuroy reflects the bravery and resilience of the Nortehanon spirit, while the festival maiden in traditional attire symbolizes the colorful culture and traditions of the province. Adding more color to the design is the vibrant palette that complements the overall layout, symbolizing diversity, creativity, and optimism for the future of Northern Samar.
All these symbols and shades not only represent this year's Ibabao Festival, but also highlight the province's journey toward sustainable growth and inclusive development, while remaining deeply rooted in its heritage.
