Behind every quiet smile and slower step, there might be a story of neglect, mistreatment, or isolation that nobody talks about. Our elders gave so much, care, sacrifice, wisdom, yet too often they're the ones 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱.

Let's choose to see them, hear them, and stand up for them. No 𝙡𝙤𝙡𝙤 and 𝙡𝙤𝙡𝙖 deserves to be left behind, dismissed, or harmed.

From 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟰–𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 the 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙧'𝙨 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙨 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 (𝙂𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙊) proudly participated in the 3-Day 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐂𝐁𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌) Training held at E-Crown Hotel, San Vicente, Virac, Catanduanes facilitated by the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗣𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗢). The training was made possible through the dedicated efforts of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗣. 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗼, 𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗢 𝗜𝗜, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗕. 𝗕𝗲𝗼, 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻-𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲, under the guidance and leadership of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗟𝘂𝗶𝘀 𝗣. 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗝𝗿., 𝗣𝗚𝗗𝗛-𝗣𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗢.

In line with the 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆-𝐍𝐘𝐂 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 (𝐉𝐌𝐂) 𝐍𝐨. 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟓-𝟎𝟏, which institutionalizes youth participation in 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗖𝗔) and 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠), the CBDRRM Training served as a platform for empowering young leaders and stakeholders through collaboration, learning, and action, working toward unified DRRM governance, stronger community resilience, science-based disaster risk reduction, and coordinated efforts across all sectors of society in support of an All-of-Society Approach to disaster preparedness and climate action.

As future leaders and advocates of resilience, we recognize that disaster preparedness is everyone's responsibility. By empowering communities and engaging the youth, we take one step closer to creating a safer, stronger, and more disaster-resilient Catanduanes.
