Sigma PNP Launches Mobile Crime Prevention Campaign During National Crime Prevention Week

Sigma PNP, September 2, 2024 – In a proactive effort to enhance community safety, the Sigma Municipal Police Station has successfully conducted a Mobile Information Dissemination campaign, also known as "Rekorida," as part of the National Crime Prevention Week 2024. The initiative, which utilized the patrol vehicle for outreach, focused on providing valuable crime prevention tips to the public.
During the campaign, officers traveled across various neighborhoods to share crucial information under the theme "Iwas Akyat Bahay, Iwas-Rape, Iwas-Aksidente, and Iwas-Physical Injury (pambubugbog)." The aim was to equip residents with practical strategies to prevent common crimes and accidents.

Iwas Akyat Bahay: Tips on securing homes and preventing burglary.
Iwas-Rape: Measures to protect individuals from sexual violence and promote community vigilance.
Iwas-Aksidente: Safety precautions to avoid traffic accidents and personal injuries.
