In celebration of the Global Handwashing Day on October 15, we once again highlight the vital role of proper hygiene in preventing the spread of infectious diseases and promoting public health. Since its inception in 2008, Global Handwashing Day has served as a reminder that washing hands with soap is an easy, effective and cost-efficient way to safeguard lives. This year's theme. "Why Are Clean Hands Still Important?", emphasizes the continued importance of handwashing, particularly in light of recent health challenges.
