The DA - Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation Program joins in the celebration of the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 with the theme: "𝙄𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣: 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨."

Let us celebrate one of the significant women in the Department of Agriculture, F2C2 Program Director 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖. 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗠𝗣𝗠.

Dir. Inting has been in public service for 21 years now. Since 2003, she has earned professional, managerial and technical skills, experiences and services in promoting sustainable agricultural, strategic planning and sectoral program; institutional development and support services management (research, extension and training); cluster development within the supply and value-added chain; continuous campaign for sustainable, ecological, farming systems; climate resiliency, climate change adaptation, mitigation; disaster risks reduction and management; rural development and rural-urban planning and infrastructure development and linkages; poverty reduction, inclusive growth, food security and nutrition/health policy and planning.

Before her stint as the Program Director, Dir. Inting has served as the Regional Executive Director of the DA-RFO MIMAROPA in 2022-2023 and the OIC-Regional Technical Director for Research and Regulations in 2021. She became the Chief of the Regional Agricultural Engineering Division (RAED) in the region in 2018-2021 and has also served as the Regional Corn Focal Person in 2015-2019.

Dir. Inting holds a Master's degree in Public Management from the Development Academy of the Philippines and got her Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.

As the lead of the F2C2 Program, Dir. Inting continues to pursue initiatives on clustering and consolidation with the F2C2 teams in the region and the F2C2 clusters in order to achieve the overall objective of the program.

The Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) Program of the Department of Agriculture RFO 5 conducted the Site Working Group (SWG) Formation yesterday, March 6, 2024 held at the Regional Dairy Production and Technology Center in Sorsogon City, Sorsogon. 16 farmers from Gubat Saint Anthony Cooperative; Mr. Gines Deniega, Provincial HVCDP Coordinator; Mr. Roy Las Pinas, LGU Gubat Municipal HVCDP Coordinator, Ms. Jackylen Gonzal, Mr. Nilo Babejes, Jr., and Dennis Codon, and APCO Staff attended the said activity as part of the Agro-Entrepreneurship Clustering Approach.

The SWG formation begins with organizing local partner institutions and cluster leaders that are willing to provide the base support to catalyze and assist the agro enterprise development process with the farmers in the area. Mr. Armando R. Octeza tackled the composition and functions of SWG. Meanwhile, RDPTC Superintendent Mr. Pedro F. Oliver and F2C2 Regional Focal Person Ms. Marilene Dimaculangan, graced the activity.

DA-F2C2 integrates the Agro-Enterprise Clustering Approach (AECA) to provide farmers access to a range of support services that will be required to help them overcome their financing, infrastructure, technological, and other constraints as they transform from selling as individual farmers to planning and working together as a commercial, business organization. It is designed as a sequence of eight steps, each step with a set of activities and tools that guide farmers in farm management improvements, market preparation, actual market engagement, and setting up agro enterprises or marketing businesses. ATM: The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 5 through the Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) program conducted a Rice Cluster Meeting to farmer clusters from various municipalities in Camarines Sur. The meeting tackles the FY 2024 Rice and F2C2 Program targets and activities, cluster profile update and status, CDPs status, CSO accreditation and its requirements, and monitoring and evaluation of the various F2C2-Rice activities.🌾

In behalf of Regional Executive Director Rodel Tornilla, OIC- Regional Technical Director Mary Grace Rodriguez, Ph.D., OIC-Chief of Field Operations Division Earl Vincent Vegas, and F2C2 Regional Focal Person Ms. Marilene Dimaculangan, present here are Ms. Mary Ann Cuya, Dr. Salvadora Gavino, Engr.
