Accessible, efficient, and quality healthcare remains among the top priorities of the Local Government Unit of Tinambac. Through the unwavering commitment of our Rural Health Unit (RHU), essential health services continue to reach every community across our municipality.

Yesterday, May 29, 2026, the RHU team, led by Municipal Health Officer Dr. John Paul E. Reazon, MD, successfully conducted a Comprehensive Health Caravan in Barangay Bolao Balite, bringing vital healthcare services directly to our fellow Tinambacqueños.

The activity was made possible through the dedicated efforts of our healthcare workers and the continued support of the Local Government Unit of Tinambac under the leadership of Mayor Edward Albert “Bobit” P. Prades, in line with the vision of a healthier and more progressive community.

As we mark National Flag Day today, May 28, until our celebration of Independence Day on June 12, I encourage every Tinambacqueño to proudly display the Philippine Flag in our homes, offices, schools, and places of business.

The flag is more than cloth and color. It carries the story of sacrifices made by generations of Filipinos so that we may live freely, speak openly, and continue building a better future for our communities and our country.

In these times when life often feels busy and divided, simple acts of patriotism still matter. Displaying our flag is a quiet but meaningful reminder that despite our differences, we remain one people sharing the same hopes for our nation and for Tinambac.

May the sight of our flag in every barangay inspire pride, unity, and love for country, not only during these commemorative days, but in the way we serve.

Composed of LGBTQIA+ dancers who brought energy, creativity, and pride to the stage, their performances beautifully showcased the culture, color, and festive spirit of our community.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the LGBTQIA+ Community led by President Julius “Jhermaine” Mojar, choreographer Kim Rivero, and to all trainers, organizers, supporters, volunteers, families, and everyone who shared their time, effort, and support to make this participation possible.

Magandang balita, Tinambacqueños!

Kabilang ang Bayan ng Tinambac sa 104 na LGUs sa Bicol Region na nakatanggap ng “Ideal” rating sa CY 2026 Local Councils for the Protection of Children (LCPC) Functionality Assessment ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Office V.

Ang assessment ay nakatuon sa pagsusuri ng performance ng mga LGU para sa taong 2025, partikular sa pagpapatupad ng mga programa, polisiya, at mga hakbang para sa proteksyon, karapatan, at kapakanan ng mga bata.

Ang pagkilalang ito ay patunay na sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni Mayor Edward Albert “Bobit” P. Prades, ang kapakanan, proteksyon, at maayos na kinabukasan ng mga bata ay kabilang sa mga pangunahing prayoridad ng pamahalaang lokal.

Kaakibat ng adhikaing “Banwaan Progresibo,” patuloy na isinusulong ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Tinambac ang mga programang nagbibigay halaga sa ligtas, mapagkalinga, at makabatang komunidad — dahil naniniwala ang administrasyon na ang pag-aaruga sa kabataan ay mahalagang pundasyon ng tunay at pangmatagalang pag-unlad.

Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagkilos ng lokal na pamahalaan, mga katuwang na ahensya, at ng komunidad, patuloy na pinagtitibay ng Tinambac ang pangako na tiyaking bawat batang Tinambacqueño ay napoprotektahan, nabibigyan ng oportunidad, at nagkakaroon ng mas maliwanag na kinabukasan.

Earlier today, May 26, 2026, the Local Government Unit of Tinambac, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Edward Albert “Bobit” P. Prades, spearheaded the planting of 8,000 mangrove propagules along the coastal areas of Barangay Old Caaluan in partnership with the Office of the Vice President – Bicol Satellite Office.

The activity forms part of the “PagbaBAGO: A Million Learners and Trees Campaign,” one of the flagship programs of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) that promotes environmental sustainability, community participation, and climate resilience.

The mangrove planting activity was participated in by Sangguniang Kabataan officials and members, Barangay Local Government Units, women’s organizations, the Bureau of Fire Protection, PNP Tinambac, the Philippine Coast Guard, the Philippine Army, Gryphoon Organization, civil society organizations, volunteers, and other stakeholders.

More than planting mangroves, the activity symbolizes unity, hope, and a shared commitment to protecting the environment and securing a greener and more resilient future for the next generations.
