It is the most festive and thrilling moment here in our community of believers as Barangay Calagbangan celebrates its Annual Patronal Fiesta in Honor of Santisimo Cristo.
A joint effort of the Parish Pastoral Council and the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Council awaits the whole community a three day events that will showcase the proud talents and treasures. This initiative aims to foster unity amidst the different socio-political challenge of time.
So heads up and mark your calendar and be with us on January 24-26, 2024!

The new breed of leaders representing the Barangay Council of Calagbangan for the Civil Year 2023-2025 conducted its First Regular Session on December 8, 2023. Highlighting its 1st Regular Session was the delegation of functions as to Committee Chairmanship, Zone jurisdiction and promulgation of house rules respectively.

Certain issues such as priority programs and projects, updates of ongoing projects from the previous administration and the call for a more unified, effective and committed leadership were being stressed out by the new set of leaders under the captainship of Hon. Basilio V. Roderno. The whole council has high hope and unshakeable faith that through their collaborative efforts, Calagbangan will be more progressive and a peaceful barangay.

"Sometimes we do not just do our BEST; but certainly at some point in exercise of leadership, we must do what is REQUIRED!."
