Successful Conduct of 4Ps TAPAT Validation

The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office II successfully conducted the 2025 4Ps TAPAT Validation in Camalaniugan to assess the LGU and Municipal Action Team (MAT) accomplishments in program implementation.

The activity was made possible through the strong cooperation of the LGU of Camalaniugan, especially MSWDO staff, MAT members, and partner offices. Their commitment and teamwork play a vital role in ensuring transparent, accountable, and responsive delivery of services ultimately contributing to the improved lives of Camalaniugueños.

FDS Highlight:
1️⃣ FDS Session: “Confronting Problems as a Family”The 4Ps beneficiaries learned that open communication, teamwork, and mutual respect make every challenge easier to overcome. A family grows stronger and more resilient when they face problems together.
2️⃣Administered and encoded Social Welfare and Development Indicators (SWDI) variance.
3️⃣Completed MOO reports
4️⃣Assisted and responded to walk-in clients.
5️⃣Retrieved Compliance Verification Forms (CVF) to ensure accurate monitoring of 4Ps beneficiaries.
6️⃣MAT Camalniugan Coordinated with the LGU for upcoming Activities regarding Pantawid Program
7️⃣The worker facilitated Home visit and small talk to the grantee; reiterated attendance to FDS either in nearby barangays or to monthly make up sessions every last Monday of every month.

Teamwork truly makes the dream work!
The Municipal Action Team (MAT) and MSWDO Staff proudly facilitated two meaningful activities that strengthened unity, partnership, and commitment in delivering quality social services to our community.

📍 November 5, 2025 – NEO Orientation

The POO Cagayan Focals , Ms. Lea-Mae T. Arao and Ms. Alice Vhey V. Gaffud, both Social Welfare Officer II, together with Mr. Allan Adame Agcaoili, Provincial Grievance Officer, shared valuable insights about the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) under RA 11310.

“The orientation highlighted how the 4Ps continues to uplift families through education, health, and nutrition support, ensuring that every Filipino child has the opportunity to dream and achieve a brighter future.”

This event was attended by our Vice Mayor Jamuel Oandasan Rosario, Sangguniang Bayan Officials, and our dedicated Barangay Officials, showing their full support and active participation throughout the session.

📍 November 6, 2025 – 4th Quarter Local Advisory Council (LAC) Meeting

Led by Ms. Ma. Corazon C. Ursulum, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer, under the leadership of Hon. Isidro T. Cabaddu, our 4th Quarter LAC Meeting successfully gathered local leaders and partner agencies to discuss updates and accomplishments of the 4Ps Program.

The meeting served as a venue to share progress, address challenges, and strengthen collaboration reflecting our shared goal to continuously improve the delivery of social welfare services in our municipality.

FDS Highlight:
1️⃣Today’s session focused on “Setting limits to a child’s behavior in a positive way and providing step-by-step support” to help them accomplish tasks. Participants learned that guiding children with patience and encouragement builds their confidence and sense of responsibility. Positive discipline helps strengthen parent-child relationships and promotes better behavior. Supporting children through small, clear steps allows them to learn independence and perseverance
2️⃣ Administered and encoded Social Welfare and Development Indicators (SWDI) variance.
3️⃣ Completed MOO reports (OBTR P4, capturing MOO’s issues, concerns, and good practices/initiatives in the implementation of FDS, Pugay Tagumpay Reporting Monitoring Sheets, P4 NAS backlogs, P3 Potential Target MC36, PCN, and LRNs.)
4️⃣ Assisted and responded to walk-in clients.
5️⃣ The Municipal Action Team, together with the POO Focals, conducted home visits to non-4Ps households for validation.
