May 18, 2026, Weekly Flag Raising Ceremony
Today, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Calasiao awarded certificates of recognition to talented CalasiaoeΓ±o youths who brought pride and honor to the Municipality of Calasiao in various fields.
During the recent Region 1 Athletic Association (R1AA) Meet 2026, King Razc B. Vinoya of the Philippine College of Science and Technology bagged gold medals in the 4 by 50- meter Freestyle Relay and the 4 by 50- meter Medley Relay. Alongside him, the Local Government Unit of Calasiao also awarded a certificate of recognition to his coach, Mr. Alvin Troy I. Episcope.
The next awardees are the 4H youths from Calasiao Comprehensive National High School, namely Shekainah Joy Untalan, Janelle Peralta, and Janea Khim Landazabal, who won 1st place in the Agri-Innovation Pitching Contest. They are now national qualifiers representing Region 1 for the upcoming National 4H Convention in Bohol this September 2026. Joshua Sionil also brought pride to the municipality by securing 2nd Place at the National Excellence Achievers Award (NEAA) Hands Category.
The Local Government Unit of Calasiao also awarded certificates of recognition to Celina Mari M. Bauzon (Swimming), as well as Ava Juliana Dalioan, Jhon Anthony B. Calub, Zhamier B. Concepcion, and Jaira Bautista (Pencak Silat) for winning gold medals at the Region 1 Athletic Association Meet 2026. They will be representing Region 1 in the upcoming Palarong Pambansa.
Our last awardees for today are the members of the Calasiao Basketball Team. The Local Government Unit presented a Resolution of Recognition to the team for emerging as the first-ever champion of the Ramon V. Guico III Inter-Municipality Tournament. The resolution honors their hard work, perseverance, and dedication to bringing pride and honor to the Municipality of Calasiao.
