The DTI Region 4-A, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture Region IV-A, the UPLB โ Institute of Food Science and Technology, the CALABARZON Cacao Industry Federation, Inc., and the Offices of the Provincial Agriculturist in CALABARZON, invites cacao farmers across the region to participate in the CALABARZON Cacao Quality Award (CCQA) 2026.
This regional competition aims to recognize the best dried fermented cacao beans in CALABARZON and promote excellence in cacao post-harvest practices.
๐ฟ Who can join?
โ Individual cacao farmers
โ Cooperatives and farmer associations
โ Private farms or estates
โ Academic or demonstration farms involved in cacao production and post-harvest processing
๐ฆ Entry Requirements
โข 2 kilograms of properly fermented and dried cacao beans
โข Duly accomplished application form
โข Certificate of Origin

Submission Deadline
June 15, 2026
Submit entries through your Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (Provincial Agriculture Office).

The Top 4 Regional Winners will:
โจ Automatically qualify for the Philippine Cacao Quality Award (PCQA) 2026
โจ Receive farm tools, certificates, and recognition during the CALABARZON Cacao Congress (July 2026 | Batangas City)
