Through the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) Division of PAGROโ€“Misamis Oriental, selected farmers from the province successfully completed the 2-day SAKA ARANGKADA 2025 training conducted by Kubota Philippines and Rhema Agrimachineries Industrial Corporation.

The activity equipped our farmers with updated knowledge on modern mechanization technologies, precision agriculture practices, and hands-on operation of various Kubota farm machines. This initiative strengthens the provinceโ€™s efforts to enhance productivity, reduce labor constraints, and promote sustainable agricultural development.

We extend our appreciation to Kubota Philippines and Rhema Agrimach for empowering MisOr farmers with practical skills and innovations that will help boost farm efficiency and income.

The 16-week Farmer Field School (FFS) on Corn Production and Management has recently concluded, marking another milestone in strengthening the provinceโ€™s agricultural capacity and farmer empowerment.

The FFS was facilitated by the Corn Program of the Provincial Agriculture Office of Misamis Oriental, in partnership with the Municipal Agriculture Office of Claveria, and funded by the Agricultural Training Institute โ€“ Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X). Throughout this season-long training, participants were equipped with practical knowledge and field-based learning to enhance productivity and sustainability in corn cultivation.

The Agricultural Biosystems Engineering (ABE) Division of the Provincial Agriculture Office also extended its technical support and served as a resource person for the session on โ€œModern Farming Technology: Agricultural Drones.โ€ This initiative underscores the provinceโ€™s commitment to promoting innovation and advancing mechanization in local agriculture.

PAGRO - ABE presented the draft of the Province of Misamis Oriental's Farm-to-Market Road Network Plan (FMRNP) during the Finalization Workshop on Farm-to-Market Road Network Planning held last October 22, 2025, at Harborlights Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

This activity aims to refine and validate the proposed FMR Network to ensure alignment with provincial priorities and national standards for inclusive and sustainable agri-infrastructure development.

The Provincial Agriculture Office (PAGRO) โ€“ Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) Division provided technical assistance in crafting the LGU Claveria's Farm-to-Market Road Network Plan (FMRNP) during the writeshop held last October 15โ€“17, 2025, at Philtown Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

This initiative aims to strengthen Claveriaโ€™s road network planning to support agri-fishery development, market accessibility, and rural connectivity in line with the Provincial and National FMRNP frameworks.
