FSUPT CONRAD IAN V CASAYURAN, Provincial Fire Marshal of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Quirino, paid a courtesy call to Vice Governor Hon. Julius Ceasar S. Vaquilar and the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

During the meeting, FSUPT CASAYURAN presented the plans of BFP Quirino aimed at minimizing fire incidents in the province. He emphasized that strengthening both the capabilities of the BFP and the preparedness of the community is essential in reducing fire occurrences.

He also highlighted several key concerns, including the need for the installation of additional fire hydrants to serve as reliable water sources for fire stations, as well as the insufficient number of fire trucks available in the province.

In response, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan expressed its full support, assuring that programs for the installation of fire hydrants have already been initiated and that efforts are being made to reinforce requests for the procurement of additional fire trucks.
