Corvera, led the First Quarter Joint Meeting of the Peace and Order Council of Cabadbaran City (POCCC), City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), and City Task Force ELCAC. Yesterday's joint meeting was not just about plans and programs—it was about people. We came together to strengthen our commitment to a drug-free, conflict-resilient, and orderly Cabadbaran.

A special moment during the event was the distribution of new white polo shirts to our ECCD Teachers—a gesture led by Mayor Amante and Vice Mayor Corvera to honor your dedication to early childhood care and development. You are the foundation of our community! 👩‍🏫✨

We also took time to honor and bid a fond farewell to PLtCol Randy A Abunda. Your leadership at the Cabadbaran City Police Station has been exemplary. Maraming salamat po, Sir, for your service to our city! We wish you well on your next journey. 🚔👏

🏛️ CABADBARAN CITY PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL 🕊️
Empowering Our Youth: A Resolute Stand for Peace

Last week, the Cabadbaran City Peace and Order Council, in close collaboration with the 29IB Philippine Army, PNP and DepEd, successfully conducted a crucial Information Drive on Anti-Insurgency and National Security for our esteemed Student Leaders from various schools across the city.

Why? Because an informed youth is our strongest partner for peace! ✌️

This proactive initiative aimed to:
🔹 Enlighten our youth on the national issues concerning insurgency and violent extremism.
🔹 Empower them with knowledge to recognize deceptive recruitment strategies targeting the youth sector.
🔹 Engage them as partners in promoting peace, understanding, and community resilience within their campuses and networks.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our resource speakers, the participating school administrations, and most especially to our dynamic and attentive student leaders. Your active participation and insightful questions are proof of your commitment to being agents of positive change.

🎯 RECAP & ROADMAP: Our POPS Planning Journey Continues 🎯

Last week, key partners convened for the crucial POPS Plan 2023-2025 Performance Review and Technical Workshop. The collaborative sessions were essential for refining our audit tools and planning for the 2026-2028 POPS Plan.

While we may be sharing this a bit after the fact, the insights gained remain just as critical for our community’s safety.

We recently concluded our 2-day Integrated POPS Performance Review & Planning Summit, where we:

📊 Reviewed the outcomes of the POPS Plan 2023-2025
📈 Audited our POC Performance Audit Indicators
🛡️ Began formulating the new Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan (POPSP) for 2026-2028

This deep-dive workshop was essential in assessing our progress and realigning our strategies for a safer, more resilient future. Stay tuned as we translate these collaborative discussions into actionable plans.

But it wasn't all charts and discussions! As a token of our deep appreciation for the active participation and commitment of our LGU partners, agency representatives, and stakeholders, we were also happy to distribute grocery packs, tumblers, and umbrellas.

The work for peace and order never stops, and neither does our commitment to it.

🎉 CELEBRATING NATIONAL CRIME PREVENTION WEEK (NCPW) 2025 🛡️

In line with the national celebration of Crime Prevention Week 2025, we proudly reaffirm our unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our community. Our holistic approach focuses not only on prevention but also on the transformative care and successful reintegration of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

This important initiative is headed by our dedicated City Mayor, Hon. Judy Chin Amante, and actively facilitated by our CLGOO Annabella O. Cadigal. We successfully conducted a gift-giving activity for our PDLs. Each beneficiary received grocery packs, rice, and specially made tumblers inscribed with valuable quotes to inspire hope and resilience on their journey.

We are also honored to align this celebration with the birthday of our President, Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. (PBBM), as we support his vision for a safer, more united, and progressive Bagong Pilipinas.

It was held on August 12, 2025 at E and G Convention Center, Cabadbaran City. The Sangguniang Barangay plays a crucial role in local governance, ensuring that the voices of the community are heard and translated into meaningful policies. To maximize efficiency and productivity, understanding the fundamental principles of parliamentary procedures is essential!

Cadigal through giving of updates on the City’s peace and order situation, including reports from:

✔Special Action Committee (SAC) on Criminality – PNP
✔Special Action Committee (SAC) on Anti-Illegal Drugs – PDEA
✔Special Action Committee (SAC) on Anti-Insurgency and Preventing Violent Extremism – AFP
✔Implementation of Localization of EO 70 – City Task Force ELCAC
✔Civil Society Organization (CSO)

✔ Turnover of logistics like sacks of rice, boxes of coffee and complete set of paraphernalia to barangays, Barangay Tanods, and BPOCs to strengthen grassroots peacekeeping efforts.
