48IB Joins Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off, Strengthens Support for Education and Community Development
SAN JOSE CITY, NUEVA ECIJA – The 48th Infantry (Guardian) Battalion, Philippine Army, participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Ceremony on 01 June 2026 at various schools across Nueva Ecija in support of the Department of Education's annual school maintenance and preparation program.
Guided by this year’s theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” participants worked hand in hand in conducting cleanup drives, minor repairs, and school improvement initiatives aimed at providing learners with a safe, clean, and conducive environment for education.
The activity reflects the Philippine Army’s enduring role as a partner of communities beyond security operations. Through meaningful engagements such as Brigada Eskwela, the Army continues to support programs that promote education, social development, and collective responsibility.
More than a school preparation effort, the event served as a powerful demonstration of the Filipino spirit of “BAYANIHAN” where government agencies, educational institutions, and community stakeholders unite toward a common goal. By investing in the welfare of students and the improvement of learning facilities, the partnership contributes to building empowered communities and a brighter future for the next generation.
The successful conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2026 underscores the belief that when communities work together, every classroom becomes a foundation for progress, and every learner is given a greater opportunity to succeed.
