March 8, 2026| During the 1st Semester Barangay Assembly Day, the Lupon Tagapamayapa Members of Barangay Aglayan conducted an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) session to educate residents about the Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) System.
The activity focused on informing the community about the types of cases that fall under the jurisdiction of the Katarungang Pambarangay, the importance of settling disputes at the barangay level, and the proper procedures for filing complaints and resolving conflicts through mediation and conciliation.
Through this initiative, residents were given a better understanding of how the Lupon Tagapamayapa helps promote peaceful settlement of disputes, strengthen community harmony, and reduce the burden of cases brought to the courts.
Barangay Aglayan remains committed to promoting peace, unity, and justice within the community through continuous information campaigns and active participation of the Lupon Members.
