TEAM (702CDC) // ‘’Laang Kawal, Karamay Mo’’ Para sa Undas 2024 in Province of Bohol.
Trinidad – In anticipation of Undas 2024, reservist personnel from the 702nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion, under the 702nd Community Defense Center, 7th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army together with the Graduate Military Assistant (GMA's) of Trinidad Municipal College ROTC unit conducted clean up drive activity at Poblacion, Trinidad, Public Cemetery, Trinidad, Bohol.
Through the initiative "Laang Kawal, Karamay Mo," reservist volunteers are actively engaged in ensuring a safe and respectful observance of Undas. This initiative aligns with the Philippine Army Reserve Command’s mission to contribute to socio-economic development and provide reservists with avenues to serve their communities meaningfully.
As the public gathers to pay tribute to departed loved ones, Laang Kawal volunteers will perform essential roles to show reverence and respect for the departed by ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the cemetery in anticipation of Undas 2024, when many families will visit their loved ones.
This activity showcases the Reserve Command, Philippine Army’s commitment to supporting community well-being and exemplifies its mission to be "kabalikat ng bayan" (partner of the nation). The visible presence of Laang Kawal volunteers reinforces public safety and embodies the Filipino spirit of solidarity, especially during culturally significant events like Undas.
