For five weeks, the people of Pamilacan gathered — fisherfolk, mothers, guides, youth — not as trained performers, but as the keepers of their island's story.
Through workshops, interviews, research, and imagination, they shaped their memories, their struggles, and their hopes into a single performance: a story only they could tell, in their own voices.
Ang Atong Isla is a devised theater performance — created by the community of Pamilacan themselves, for their island and for everyone who comes to know it.
Come witness what five weeks of listening, remembering, and imagining together can become.
September 5, 2026, on Pamilacan Island, Baclayon, Bohol.

⛴️ We can help arrange your trip! A boat will leave Baclayon early morning on September 5 (pick-up 8:00 AM) — 30 slots available. Each boat seats 15 pax and rents for ₱3,500, split among passengers (around ₱250/person once full). Spend the day snorkeling, touring the village, and getting to know the island before the performance in the evening.
🏡 Looking for a place to stay? We can refer you to resorts on the island — camping is also welcome.
⛴️ The return boat leaves early morning on September 6.
