BVP is a producer and distributor of bulletproof vests made in South Korea and tested in accordance to US` NIJ standards.

Bulletproof Vest Philippines or BVP for short was established in December of 2016. BVP is the retail arm of Trust Securitas Philippines and Trust Securitas Korea. We manufacture, develop, test and sell our own brand of bulletproof vests. Our goal is to provide the highest level of body armor protection at reasonable prices. We have all our products tested by HP White labs in the US in accordance t

o the NIJ standards of ballistic protection. We aim to make all our products safe, easy to use and accessible. At the same time, we are dedicated to educate and inform users of ballistic protection in how the products actually work, their capabilities as well as their shortcomings. We believe knowledge of the product is key to better utilize it safely and protect as many lives as possible. We are in continous collaboration with research and development departments of both police and military here and in Korea, our current product line is a result of several prototypes in which we have worked to optimize the best balance between protection, comfortability and weight.

Recently we have received quite a lot of inquiries about bomb blankets, for those interested in bomb blankets it is important to understand how they are tested. Bomb blankets are tested through V-50 and not by measuring impact back face deformation as we we test body armor and helmets. The V-50 Ballistic Limit Test is a scientific evaluation used to determine the velocity at which a projectile has a 50% chance of penetrating body armor and a 50% chance of being stopped. For reference, body armor usually operates with a V50 around 5-600 m/s (1640-1950 f/s), most bomb blankets are in 550-650 m/s (1800-2100 f/s) range at the high end, ours is tested to 705 m/s (2315 f/s) according to our latest test results from Oregon Ballistic Laboratories, for full test results feel free to reach out.

We have new upgraded plates available, these are polyurea coated for impact and abrasion resistance and multi-curved for better contouring and fit.

The MAX line of plates also have edge to edge ceramic protection through hexagonal ceramic tiles and are made using a silicone-PE composite to lower the weight as much as possible.
