TPNHS stude shines in regional tilt

Exzikhiyella Mhel D. Moron, Grade 12 student of Twin Peaks National High School placed second winning a Php 4,000 cash prize in the 2026 Nutrition Month Regional Poster Making Contest during the 52nd Nutrition Month celebration of the National Nutrition Council - Cordillera Administrative Region with the theme "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!" held virtually, July 30.

“I am happy and at the same time a little sad because I wasn’t able to grab the first place,” Moron said.

“However, to be adjudged in the top 3 is an honor. I am happy that my parents and relatives are proud of me,” she added.

The contest was open to students and out-of-school youth aged 12–18 years old residing in the region.

Exactly 43 original posters were evaluated based on relevance to the theme, creativity and originality, visual impact and artistic quality, and clarity of message.

Meanwhile, Harry B. Cabebe from Luba Abra and Sherlan Lorin B. Langgook from Purok East, Gibraltar, Baguio City bagged first place with Php 6,000 and third place with Php 2,000 cash prize, respectively.

Moreover, Cabebe shall represent the region in the national level.
