We are pleased to officially announce the results of the CTE - SG Election 2925 held on April 6 - 7, 2024, via google form and face-to-face election at the CTE Lounge.

Out of a total of 566 ๐™ซ๐™ค๐™ฉ๐™š๐™จ ๐™˜๐™–๐™จ๐™ฉ, 530 ๐™ฌ๐™š๐™ง๐™š ๐™ซ๐™–๐™ก๐™ž๐™™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™š๐™™, ๐™ฌ๐™๐™ž๐™ก๐™š 36 ๐™ฌ๐™š๐™ง๐™š ๐™™๐™š๐™˜๐™ก๐™–๐™ง๐™š๐™™ ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ซ๐™–๐™ก๐™ž๐™™.

We, the CTE - SG Commission on Elections (COMELEC), are committed to promote greater student engagement and reducing voter apathy in the upcoming CTE - SG Elections. Over the past years, we have observed a low voter turnout, which has prompted us to explore new and more accessible approaches to the electoral process.

In response, we are implementing flexible modes of voting โ€” through Online Election via Google Forms and Face-to-Face Election at the CTE Lounge. These alternatives aim to create a fair, inclusive, and student-centered election, ensuring that every student is given the opportunity to participate.

On April 4, 2025, the orientation and announcement of the 20 candidates competing for positions in the College of Teacher Education Student Government for the 2025-2026 academic year took place at Room 103, CTE building. The candidates outlined their platforms, focusing on themes of change, empowerment, and fostering a more inclusive, connected, and harmonious CTE environment.

With voting scheduled for April 6 -7, 2025, the campus looks ahead to a pivotal electoral season, emphasizing student leadership and democratic participation.

The formal campaign period began following the proclamation, and students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the candidates. The final campaign event, Miting De Avance, will be held on April 4, 2024, 4:00 pm onwards at the CTE Lounge.
