TINGNAN | Nakikiisa ang Kagawaran ng Interyor at Pamahalaang Lokal sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026

Ang tema ng pagdiriwang ngayong taon ay "Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon". Ang pagdiriwang ay nakatugon sa Pampanguluhang Proklamasyon Blg. 1041 s. 1997 na nagpapahayag ng taunang pagdiriwang tuwing Agosto 1-31 bilang Wikang Pambansa, at naglalayon na maiangat ang kamalayan ng mga mamamayang Pilipino ukol sa wika at kasaysayn nito.

Bayugan City proudly celebrates its recognition as IDEAL in the 2026 Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) Functionality Assessment and HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL in the 2026 Local Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) Functionality Assessment.

This achievement reflects the unwavering commitment and strong leadership of City Mayor Hon. Kirk A. Asis, whose steadfast support for programs that protect children, empower women, and strengthen families continues to drive Bayugan City toward excellence in local governance.

Likewise, this milestone is the result of the collective efforts of the City Government of Bayugan, the LCPC and LCAT-VAWC members, partner agencies, stakeholders, and the DILG Bayugan City Field Office in ensuring that every child is protected and every woman can live in a safe and violence-free community.
