TINGNAN | Sa pangunguna ni Mayor Strike B. Revilla at Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista-Mendiola, City Council at ng City Health Unit, ay pormal na inilunsad ang “Bakuna Eskwela”, isang kampanya upang hikayatin ang mga magulang mula Grade 1, 4 at 7 na pabakunahan ang kanilang mga anak ng MrTd at HPV vaccines dito sa lungsod ng Bacoor.

Katuwang sa kampanyang ito ay ang City Schools Division of Bacoor na pinangungunahan ni Dr. Babylyn M. Pambid, OIC- Schools Division Superintendent at ang SDO Bacoor Health and Nutrition Unit kasama ng mga nurse sa pangangasiwa ni Dr. Ceasar L. Pajuyo, Medical Officer III.

Nagpahayag din nang pagsuporta ang Federated Parents and Teachers Association (FPTA) President na si Romagail M. Quezon para sa ligtas at epektibong pagbabakuna.

Ang libreng bakuna kagaya ng MrTd vaccines ay tumutulong upang maiwasan ang pagkakaroon ng tigdas, tigdas-hangin, tetano at diptera. Samantala, ang HPV vaccines naman ay tumutulong upang protektahan ang ating katawan laban sa cervical cancer.

IN PHOTO | The City Schools Division of Bacoor met with PLDT officials and discussed future partnership projects to boost information technology- related activities and projects that may benefit schools in Bacoor City.

Vice President and Head, Public Sector of PLDT Enterprise, Ruby Montoya together with Arlyn Del Prado, Senior Relationship Manager, PLDT Enterprise and Michael Nolasco, AVP and Business Head, PLDT Enterprise personally visited DepEd Bacoor City office to understand the needs and the key points of where they should start in helping Bacoor City public schools in terms of internet access, cyber security and/or any technological concerns.

Thi is also in line with the initiative of former Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla, through Linkod Kabitenyo, wherein free Wifi access was provided to public areas such as schools as part of assisting the community during COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting was attended by OIC- Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Babylyn M. Pambid, OIC- Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Lualhati O. Cadavedo, Chief Education Supervisor- Schools Governance and Operations Division, Dr. Cesar M. Mojica, Chief Education Supervisor- Curriculum Implementation Division, Dr. Editha B. Gregorio and Education Program Supervisor, Social Mobilization, Arwin M. Ternida.

Oath-taking ceremony of the newly-elected Federated Parents and Teachers Associations (FPTA) for SY 2024-2025 at DepEd Bacoor City, conference room.

The newly-elected officers of the FPTA expressed their commitment in fullfilling their duties and responsibilities in their oath-taking ceremony. SDS Pambid reminded the new set of officers about DepEd issuances concerning school operation and how the association, as school partner, can best assist.

The Localized Kilos Unlad Training (LOKUT) in support for the protection of children held on September 18-19, 2024, at Bulwagang Tanglaw, DepEd Compound, Trece Martires City, was a significant gathering of the Provincial Advisory Council (PAC) of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). Spearheaded by the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer, the event brought together council members for an insightful and impactful two-day training to draft a Provincial Action Plan aimed at improving the implementation of the 4Ps program across Cavite focusing on poverty reduction, community development, and sustainable livelihood projects.
Workshops and interactive discussions were facilitated by program experts from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region IV-A. Leading the session was Ms. Nilibeth V. Mercado, Division Chief of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (PPPPMO), Ms. Joanna Liezel S. De Luna, Regional Child Psychologist, Mr. Jay O. Olaguir, Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Ms. Nherrie Joy C. Rollo, IPD Officer for LGU, Ms. Marinee G. Santiago, SWO II, and Ms. Mildred Mina, Provincial Link.

We are pleased to announce that the Federated Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Elections were successfully held last September 26, 2024, at Arsenio Hall, Talaba Elementary School. This event was led by the Schools Governance and Operations Division and brought together PTA leaders from across the city.

The elections were a great opportunity to foster stronger partnerships between parents and educators, ensuring our community continues to thrive through collaborative efforts. 🙌
