The Local Government Unit of Bato, Camarines Sur actively participated in the Orientation on Republic Act No. 12009, also known as the New Government Procurement Act, held from July 29 to 31, 2025, at Vela Hotel, Legazpi City.

The municipality was represented by Municipal Mayor Enric Dancalan, Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Members, BAC Technical Working Group, BAC Secretariat, other LGU employee-end users, and procurement personnel.

The orientation provided vital insights and practical guidance to ensure that the implementation of the new procurement law is aligned with the principles of good governance and responsive public service.
