NATATANGING LOCAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER - 2ND PLACE🏆🎉

Taos-pusong pagbati kay Ms. Genise Ellen N. Monter, Chief of Municipal Youth Development Office (MYDO) ng Bataraza, sa kanyang natatanging pagkilala bilang Natatanging Local Youth Development Officer – 2nd Place, mula sa kabuuang 23 munisipalidad sa Lalawigan ng Palawan.

Ang parangal ay iginawad sa ginanap na Gawad Parangal noong Agosto 26, 2026, sa VJR Hall, Provincial Capitol, Puerto Princesa City.

Ang pagkilalang ito ay patunay ng kanyang mahusay at tapat na paglilingkod, matatag na pamumuno, at walang sawang dedikasyon sa pagtataguyod ng kapakanan, partisipasyon, at pag-unlad ng kabataang Batarazeño.

Ang iyong tagumpay ay hindi lamang karangalan ng Municipality of Bataraza at ng Municipal Youth Development Office, kundi isang inspirasyon din sa lahat ng mga kabataan at mga naglilingkod para sa sektor ng kabataan.

🌙 MUSABAQAH SIBĀQ AN-NUR 2026🌙

The Muslim Students Club and Guild – Bataraza Chapter (MSCG-Bataraza) successfully conducted Musabaqah Sibāq An-Nur on August 29, 2026, at the 3rd Floor Conference Room, Municipal Hall of Bataraza.

MSCG-Bataraza, a registered youth organization under the NYC-YORP and a member of the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC), spearheaded this meaningful activity in coordination with the Municipal Youth Development Office (MYDO). The MYDO also provided technical assistance in the conduct and successful implementation of the activity.

The program featured the following competitions:

📖 Qur’an Recitation – Male and Female Categories
📚 Qur’an Reading – Male and Female Categories
🕌 Adhan Performance – Male Category
🧠 Islamic Quiz Bee

The activity provided a meaningful platform for the youth to showcase their knowledge, skills, and appreciation of Islamic teachings while strengthening their faith, unity, and commitment to preserving the values and teachings of the Qur’an.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Abdulgani “Gan” Ibba for his invaluable support for this activity. We also sincerely thank all the Ustadz who generously shared their time, knowledge, and guidance, and who became an important part of the success of Musabaqah Sibāq An-Nur 2026.

May this activity continue to inspire our youth to pursue knowledge, uphold Islamic values, and become responsible leaders of the community.

Empowering Youth through Awareness, Prevention, and Positive Action

Last August 8, 2026, the Municipal Youth Development Office (MYDO) of Bataraza successfully conducted the “Ligtas Ka Ba? Tara, Pag-usapan Natin!” Awareness Symposium at the 3rd Floor, Conference Room, Municipal Hall of Bataraza, Palawan. 💙

The activity provided young people with a safe space to learn, ask questions, speak up, and become more informed about issues that affect their health, safety, and future.

👶 Teenage Pregnancy Prevention
❤️ HIV/AIDS Awareness
🚫 Anti-Bullying
🛡️ Anti-Human Trafficking
🚨 Anti-Illegal Drugs

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the dedicated resource speakers from the Municipal Health Office (MHO) and the Municipal Police Station (MPS) for sharing their knowledge, experiences, and valuable insights with our youth. Your commitment to educating and protecting the young generation is truly appreciated. 👏💙
