📢 REMINDER TO ALL SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN (SK) OFFICIALS

This is a friendly reminder to all SK Chairpersons who have not yet conducted their Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Assembly to please schedule and conduct your assembly at the earliest possible time.

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10742 (Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015), the KK Assembly shall be conducted at least once every six (6) months. The assembly serves as an important platform for engaging the youth, presenting reports, discussing programs and projects, and gathering valuable feedback from the members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan.

Let us remain committed to transparency, accountability, and meaningful youth participation by complying with this important requirement.

Thank you for your cooperation and dedication to serving the youth in your respective barangays.

A Child's Behavior Is Often a Mirror of What They Experience at Home.

Many adults ask, "Why is this child so angry, disrespectful, withdrawn, or difficult?"

But perhaps a better question is:

"What has this child been seeing every day?"

Home is a child's first classroom. Before children meet teachers, classmates, or the world, they spend years observing the people inside their own homes.

Children do not simply listen to what parents say. They absorb what parents do.

A child who constantly hears shouting may learn that anger is how problems are solved.

A child who rarely feels heard may stop speaking altogether.

A child who grows up in kindness often learns to give kindness to others.

This does not mean parents must be perfect. No family is.

But it reminds us of something important:

Children are not raised by occasional lectures. They are raised by daily experiences.

Every conversation, every argument, every act of love, every apology, and every moment of neglect quietly shapes who a child becomes.

Because in the end, children often carry a piece of their home wherever they go.

And sometimes, the behavior we see in school or in public is simply a child telling the story of home without using words.
