Ang Commission on Elections (COMELEC) ay magpapatupad ng Work-From-Home (WFH) arrangement TUWING LUNES mula November 9, 2026 hanggang March 29, 2027, bilang suporta sa direktiba ng pamahalaan sa pagtitipid ng enerhiya.

Sa loob ng panahong ito, tuwing Lunes, ay walang onsite o pisikal na pasok sa lahat ng tanggapan ng COMELEC sa buong bansa at ang mga sumusunod na serbisyong pampubliko ay HINDI AVAILABLE:

👉 Processing at Issuance ng Voter Certification
👉 Onsite Overseas Voter Registration

Planuhin nang maaga ang inyong pagpunta sa COMELEC offices at antabayanan ang mga anunsyo o updates sa opisyal na social media channels ng COMELEC.

IN THE MATTER OF THE CESSATION OF ALL ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THE NOVEMBER 2, 2026 BARANGAY AND SANGUNIANG KABATAAN ELECTIONS BY VIRTUE OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 12326
1. All activities relating to the conduct of the November 2, 2026 BSKE, except as herein provided, be stopped and discontinued, including the scheduled filing of the certificates of candidacy and the ensuing campaign period.
2. The prohibitions on certain acts related to the conduct of the 2026 BSKE, as provided under the election calendar and applicable laws, rules, and regulations, will be lifted.
3. The ongoing printing of additional ballots, accountable forms, Election Day Computerized Voters List (EDCVL), and Posted Computerized Voters List (PCVL) will continue until the required quantities have been completed.
4. All pending procurement of forms and supplies for the 2026 BSKE will be completed, including their delivery, subject to the measures to be undertaken pursuant to the Minute Resolution referred to in MEMORANDUM NO. 261210 (Ref. No. 0836-26) of the Office of the Secretary to the Commission.
5. All forms, supplies, and other election paraphernalia already printed or procured for the 2026 BSKE will be properly secured, stored, and preserved for future use.

COMMISSION ON ELECTIONS (COMELEC)
M.R. No. 26-0842

The Commission on Elections has issued Minute Resolution No. 26-0842 concerning the cessation of all activities related to the November 2, 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) by virtue of Republic Act No. 12326.

Among the matters provided in the Resolution are the following:

🔹 All activities relating to the conduct of the November 2, 2026 BSKE, including the scheduled filing of Certificates of Candidacy and campaign period, shall be stopped and discontinued, except as otherwise provided.

🔹 The prohibitions on certain acts connected with the conduct of the elections shall be lifted.

🔹 Election forms, supplies, and paraphernalia shall be properly secured, stored, and preserved for future use.

🔹 Voter registration for purposes of the 2028 National and Local Elections (NLE) shall continue starting the second week of November 2026.

As part of the documentary requirements for the filing of the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for the November 02, 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, all aspiring candidates are reminded to bring the following:

📄 1 Original Copy
➡️ PSA or LCR Certificate of Live Birth

📑 2 Photocopies
➡️ Photocopies of the same Live Birth Certificate

✅ Please prepare these documents before proceeding with the filing of your COC.

For COC checking, verification, and any clarifications regarding the filing requirements, aspiring candidates may visit the Office of the Election Officer – Barugo, Leyte.
