Provincial Government of Abra Holds Tribute Ceremony for Acting Governor Bragas
In a heartfelt expression of gratitude and admiration, the Provincial Government of Abra held a tribute ceremony for outgoing Acting Governor Atty. Russell A. Bragas on June 27, 2025, at the Abra Capitol Atrium. The event brought together officials and employees from various provincial offices, each group presenting heartfelt messages and performances in honor of the Governorβs exemplary leadership and dedicated public service. Highlights included moving audio-visual presentations and a stirring performance by the Abra Capitol Chorale, all reflecting the profound impact of his term.
The program featured messages of thanks from department representatives, with a special tribute delivered by ENRO Head Mr. Cris A. Albolote. A touching video montage showcased the appreciation of PGA employees for the Governorβs service. In his emotional farewell address, Acting Governor Bragas expressed deep gratitude to all government workers for their unwavering support during his more than six-month tenure. He was joined at the event by his wife, DSWD Undersecretary Denise Florence Bernos-Bragas, and their three children, whose presence added a heartfelt and personal touch to the occasion. Undersecretary Bernos-Bragas delivered an inspiring message, commending the dedication of PGA personnel and congratulating the Governor for a job well done. She emphasized how, despite the brevity of his term, the collective efforts of the entire provincial team under his leadership brought meaningful progress to the province.
