The 20th Sangguniang Bayan of Banaue held its 43rd Regular Session in Barangay Batad.

Several committee reports were presented before the Body and were further deliberated upon during the Second Reading of agenda items.

Following the adjournment of the session, the Sangguniang Bayan opened the floor for an Open Forum, providing residents of Barangay Batad the opportunity to raise concerns, ask questions, and seek assistance directly from members of the council.

Hon. Romeo P. Heppog, Punong Barangay of Batad, also took the opportunity to formally invite the 20th Sangguniang Bayan of Banaue to participate in the Iwang ad Batad Festival.

The 20th Sangguniang Bayan of Banaue successfully held its 34th Regular Session at the Barangay Hall of Barangay Viewpoint.

During the session, various matters were taken up, including the first reading of several resolutions, ordinances, and communications, which were then referred to the appropriate committees for further study. Urgent items were likewise included in the Second Reading, while other discussions were moved to the Business for the Day for deliberation and action.

After the session was adjourned, the Sangguniang Bayan held a brief public consultation with the community members present. Time was allotted for questions and clarifications, allowing the public to raise their concerns and receive direct responses from the members.

May this Outside Regular Session be another meaningful step toward making our legislative work more accessible and responsive to the people of Banaue.
