Every generation faces challenges, and today’s youth are at the center of issues like mental health, misinformation, unhealthy lifestyles, and the lack of preparedness in times of crisis. But within our schools are leaders — student governments — who hold the power to shape culture, influence peers, and spark real change. ✨

This November, we will gather these leaders not just to learn, but to unite. The Balingasag Youth Health Leadership Summit 2025 (YouthRx) is more than a summit, it’s a movement to equip young leaders with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead health initiatives in their schools and communities.

And for the first time ever, it’s also where we will begin forming the Federation of Student Governments of Balingasag. A united voice of youth leaders working hand-in-hand to build healthier, stronger, and more resilient Balingasag. 🤝

The prescription is clear: It’s time to take action.

At a time when stories of corruption and the erosion of integrity in government dominate our nation, we cannot stay silent. The call for a transparent, accountable, and people-centered government has never been louder, and it is our duty as citizens, and as young leaders, to answer that call.

We believe that true governance is rooted in honesty, service, and justice. Anything less betrays the trust of the people. We join every Filipino who demands better from those in power. Leaders who will put the welfare of the people above personal gain.

To the youth: your voice matters. Use it. Speak up. Call out corruption. Demand accountability. Because silence in the face of wrongdoing only allows injustice to grow.

Together, let us be unafraid to stand for what is right! ✊🏼

𝐈𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰. ✨

On this International Youth Day 2025, we celebrate not just the boundless potential of our youth, but their unstoppable power to shape a future that is inclusive, progressive, and sustainable.

For years, the League of Young Catalysts has stood alongside the youth of Balingasag — believing that when young voices are heard, when their ideas are trusted, and when their dreams are given the space to grow, the community moves forward together.

LYC has been steadfast in its mission to push for youth empowerment, inclusivity, progress, and sustainability here in our town. Proving that even without the perfect structures in place, committed young people can still rise, organize, and lead with impact.

Let this day be more than a commemoration — let it be a clear reminder: The strength of a community is measured not by the titles we hold or the positions we occupy, but by the opportunities we create for the next generation to thrive. This is a challenge to all of us — officials or not — to step up, take responsibility, and work together to build a better, more sustainable Balingasag.

To our fellow young leaders, and public officials, may this celebration of International Youth Day and Linggo ng Kabataan awaken a deeper commitment. One that transforms these annual events into year-round action. Let us dream and deliver programs that are meaningful, empowering, inclusive, and sustainable — the kind that leaves a legacy, not just a memory.
