Balingasag Power Station (BPS) is a 3 x 55 MW coal-fired thermal power plant located in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental, providing reliable and efficient power to Cagayan de Oro City and nearby municipalities. With a strong commitment to operational excellence, safety, and sustainability, BPS continues to be a trusted energy partner in Mindanao.

We are currently looking for qualified and dedicated professionals to join our team:

🔧MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform administrative duties, including preparation of purchase requisitions for materials, spare parts, and consumables
• Supervise and direct Senior Mechanics and Mechanics in their respective work areas
• Ensure availability and proper use of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment
• Review maintenance defect reports and monitor the status of equipment breakdowns

Qualifications:
• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineeringor equivalent technical course (Licensed is an advantage)
• 3–5 years experience in mechanical process plant equipment
• At least 2 yearse xperience in the same or equivalent position in a **coal-fired power plant
• Knowledge of applicable codes, laws, and regulations on power plant machinery
• Experience with computerized maintenance systems
• Familiar with plant hazards and safety requirements
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills

Balingasag Power Station (BPS)
Balingasag, Misamis Oriental

Balingasag Power Station (BPS) is a 3x55MW coal-fired thermal power plant providing reliable and efficient power to Cagayan de Oro and nearby municipalities. We are looking for qualified, skilled, and dedicated professionals to join our growing team.

POSITION: Shift Supervisor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

✔ Direct operators in the safe and efficient operation of the generating plant, including auxiliary and balance-of-plant systems
✔ Ensure operations comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, OEM recommendations, and SOPs
✔ Analyze plant operating issues and implement corrective actions or endorse solutions to the Shift Superintendent
✔ Enforce standard operating procedures, including Permit-to-Work (PTW)and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO)
✔ Ensure proper accomplishment of log sheets, routine checks, and tests

QUALIFICATIONS:

✔ Licensed Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer
✔ At least 2–4 years experience in power plant operations
✔ With at least 1 year experience in a similar supervisory role (preferably coal-fired power plant)
✔ Knowledgeable in boiler, turbine, generator, and auxiliary systems
✔ Familiar with environmental regulations for thermal power plants
✔ With good oral and written communication and report-writing skills
