Personnel of Baler Municipal Police Station led by PCPT NESTOR B WIGAN, Deputy Chief of Police, under the supervision of PMAJ DONNA FE M GALBAN, Chief of Police, conducted Anti-Criminality Checkpoint as part of the intensified anti-criminality campaign and implementation of the Safer Cities Initiative.

The operation aims to ensure the safety and security of motorists and travelers, prevent street crimes, and strengthen the campaign against Motorcycle Riding Suspects (MRS).

Through sustained checkpoint operations, the police continue to promote peace and order, enhance public safety, and support the effective implementation of the Safer Cities Initiative within the municipality.

Community Engagement: Distribution of Flyers and Dialogue

Personnel of Baler Municipal Police Station led by PSSg Michelle Joy N Rivares, Asst. WCPD PNCO under the supervision of PMAJ DONNA FE M GALBAN, Chief of Police conducted a community engagement activity.

The activity included a dialogue and distribution of informative flyers about ASEAN and key laws such as Anti-Criminality Safety Tips, Anti-Terrorism, RA 7610 also known as Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act, RA 9262 the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act, RA 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, RA 11313, the Safe Spaces Act or the Bawal Bastos Law, RA 7877, the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995.

This initiative aims to promote public safety by increasing police visibility, raising awareness on important laws, and strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and the community.
