Nakiisa ang DILG Balagtas sa paglulunsad ng JBM Patrol System ng Balagtas Municipal Police Station (MPS). Ang nasabing aktibidad ay pinangunahan ni PMAJ Mark Anthony L San Pedro, Chief of Police ng Balagtas MPS.

Ang JBM o Joint Police–Barangay BPATs Mobilization Patrol System ay isang inisyatiba na naglalayong higit pang palakasin ang police presence at pagtutulungan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) at Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATs) sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan, kaayusan, at seguridad sa komunidad.

Sa pamamagitan ng programang ito, inaasahang mapalalakas ang koordinasyon at pagtutulungan ng kapulisan at mga barangay katuwang ang mga BPATs upang mas mabilis na matugunan ang mga usaping pangkapayapaan at seguridad sa mga pamayanan ng Balagtas.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐂𝐑, 𝟏𝟔 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟏 𝐩.𝐦. 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲

Work in government offices and classes at all levels in public and private schools in the National Capital Region and 16 provinces will be suspended starting 1 p.m. today, August 28, 2026, due to the expected further enhancement of the Southwest Monsoon by a Low-Pressure Area that has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Under Memorandum Circular No. 132, issued by Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), the suspension covers the following areas:

NCR
Abra
Benguet
Ilocos Sur
La Union
Pangasinan
Bataan
Bulacan
Nueva Ecija
Pampanga
Tarlac
Zambales
Batangas
Cavite
Rizal
Oriental Mindoro
Occidental Mindoro

Government agencies providing basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services will continue to operate.
Local chief executives may also suspend classes and/or work in government offices in their respective areas.
In the private sector, the suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements will be left to management.
