Doรฑa Aurora Elementary School, under the leadership of School Head Mrs. Estrella B. Bulay, successfully welcomed the monitoring team from the Department of Education for the implementation of the ARAL Summer Remediation Program. The monitoring visit was led by Ma'am. Jennifer Ande, Chief Education Supervisor of the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD), and sir Romulo B. Basa, Education Program Supervisor in Math, DepEd-CAR, together with Ma'am. Armi Victoria A. Fianga-an, Education Program Supervisor (EPS)โEnglish, and Ma'am. Rosie Beel A. Marzo, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS), DepEd Baguio City. The activity aimed to assess the effectiveness of the program in helping learners improve their academic performance through focused remediation and meaningful learning interventions.
During the visit, the monitoring team observed classroom activities, reviewed instructional materials, and interacted with teachers and learners to ensure that the objectives of the ARAL Program were being effectively implemented. The schoolโs dedication to providing quality learning opportunities during the summer break was highly recognized, as teachers demonstrated commitment and creativity in addressing the diverse learning needs of pupils. Through collaborative efforts and continuous support from education leaders, the ARAL Summer Remediation Program continues to serve as a vital initiative in strengthening literacy, numeracy, and overall learner achievement.
