BADOC, Ilocos Norte — On June 11, 2026, the Local Government of Badoc distributed farm supplies to qualified to***co farmers through the funds provided under Republic Act No. 7171 (Virginia To***co Excise Tax).

The activity was led by the Municipal Mayor Virgilio M. Calajate, with the support of the Sangguniang Bayan of Badoc headed by the Municipal Vice Mayor Glennd George G. Cajigal. Also present were the Municipal Agriculturist, Mr. Renante Cayme and the municipal employees of LGU Badoc, who assisted in the implementation of the distribution.

The Municipal Government of Badoc remains committed to delivering programs that promote sustainable agriculture and support the welfare of its farmers.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗢𝗟 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦

July 14, 2026 – The Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte successfully conducted the Capitol Express in the Municipality of Badoc, bringing essential government programs and services closer to the people.

The activity was led by the Hon. Governor Cecilia Araneta Marcos and Hon. Vice Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc, with the support of the Local Government Unit headed by the Municipal Mayor Virgilio M. Calajate, Vice Mayor Glennd George G. Cajigal, and the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan.

Among the services delivered were the Cash-for-Work salary distribution for the municipalities of Nueva Era (50), Pinili (10) and Badoc (22) recipients, Agri Ka Dito Program of the Provincial Agriculture Office, free medicine distribution, reading glass distribution, and the 2nd tranche rice distribution, where 1,693 beneficiaries each received 10kgs of rice.

The Capitol Express Program reflects the Provincial Government's continuing commitment to making public services more accessible and responsive through strong collaboration with local government units, ensuring that assistance reaches communities across the province.

The Sangguniang Bayan successfully convened its 53rd Regular Session to deliberate on key legislative matters for the municipality's advancement. The session also served as the official welcome for our newly appointed Sangguniang Bayan Member Hon. Rowena P. Jara, whose arrival strengthens the council's commitment to effective governance.
