I led the inauguration and blessing of the newly constructed Barangay Hall of Napu, Badoc, Ilocos Norte.

This project, funded through the RA 7171 2022 share, strengthens local governance by providing a functional and accessible space for public service, community meetings, and the delivery of essential programs to our constituents.

I extend my sincere appreciation to the barangay officials of Napu, led by Punong Barangay Rogelio Dahilig, to our partners, and to all who contributed to the completion of this project.

I proudly congratulate our outstanding student-athletes from Nagrebcan National High School and the Badoc District for their remarkable performance in the Region 1 Athletic Association (R1AA) Meet 2026 held in Candon City.

From Nagrebcan National High School, I recognize Cassandra G. Taderan and Xyrill G. Taderan for winning Gold in Wushu, and Akeisha Precious Gail Salisi for earning Silver, under the guidance of Coach Raymar L. Tabrilla.

From the Badoc District, I also commend:
• Marcus Ace L. Mayubay, Liam Ashlei Y. Pidot, and Johan Rei P. Marcos for Arnis, guided by Coaches Filipinas Galzote, Salve Teresa Cabuyadao, Marion Calautit, and Marites A. Abucay

Our warm Badoqueño welcome to the the Bureau of Fisheries, together with the Resources, Environment, and Economics Center for Studies, Inc. (REECS), as they conduct scoping activities in our municipality for the Coastal and Marine Habitat Protection, Rehabilitation, and Management Plan under the FishCoRe Project.

This initiative marks an important step in strengthening our coastal and fisheries management through data gathering, identification of priority concerns, and alignment of local strategies with science-based approaches. It supports our goal to protect marine resources and sustain the livelihood of our fisherfolk.

I extend my sincere appreciation to BFAR, led by OIC Regional Director Atty. Gifty O. Dela Peña, CESE, and to all participating LGU offices for their support and active collaboration in this undertaking.

Together, we will continue to protect our coastal environment and ensure a sustainable future for the people of Badoc.
