IN PHOTOS || EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONSE
02 May 2026

On or about 1405H of 02 May 2026, Leon B. Postigo Municipal Fire Station EMS attended to a walk-in medical case at the station in Poblacion, Leon B. Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte. A 66-year-old female presented ambulatory, complaining of dizziness and body weakness after exertion.

Assessment revealed a blood pressure of 130/90 mmHg and a blood glucose level of 60 mg/dL, with the patient reporting no food intake for the past 8 hours, suggestive of hypoglycemia.

The patient was managed on scene by allowing her to rest, encouraging oral fluid intake, and administering oral glucose in the form of a sweetened drink, which led to improvement of symptoms. Vital signs were monitored, and health education was provided. The patient was advised to seek further evaluation at the nearest health facility.
