COMMUNITY DIALOGUE FOR WELFARE AND SAFETY
Barangay Villamonte, under the leadership of Hon. Rommel P. Flores, successfully conducted the 1st Community Dialogue between the residents of Purok Isla, Purok Gugma, Purok Medalla Milagrosa, and Purok Sulom II and TRIUMPH Bacolod City, with the presence of Kagawad Gary “Nonoy” Delfinado, Barangay Administrator Jerrold Go, Lupon Andre Jean Las Piñas, and Purok Presidents of Medalla Milagrosa, Isla and Sulom II respectively.
The dialogue served as an open and constructive platform where the concerns and sentiments of the community were heard, clarified, and properly addressed. This initiative highlights the Barangay’s strong commitment to protecting the welfare, safety, and interests of its residents while fostering cooperation with private stakeholders.
During the meeting, TRIUMPH Bacolod City expressed its full willingness to cooperate with the community and the local government. As a result of the discussion and mutual understanding between all parties, the company has temporarily agreed to hold its activities while it secures the necessary government permits and clearances required to operate.
This collaborative step demonstrates a shared commitment to transparency, compliance with regulations, and prioritizing community safety above all.
Once the required permits are secured, a 2nd Community Dialogue will be scheduled where TRIUMPH Bacolod City will formally present their project and operational plans, ensuring that community safety, environmental responsibility, and public welfare remain the top priorities.
